Touch Stool — Pill, Oiled Walnut

Touch puts the interest exactly where your hand lands. Studioilse's stool has a pill-shaped solid-wood top covered in small hand-carved marks, supported by crossed, angled legs. The marks are carved freely rather than copied from a drawing, so no two surfaces have the same pattern. In oiled walnut, the changing grain and shallow relief give the compact form a warm, tactile presence. It can serve as occasional seating or as a small side table. The Pill version measures 53 × 40 × 45 cm; it is distinct from the smaller Half Moon. Clean with a soft dry or damp cloth and keep it indoors.
