Running archives give ASICS SportStyle a distinctive design language: layered uppers, visible panels and substantial sole systems become elements of everyday dressing. The GEL-NYC makes that process explicit by combining references from several earlier running models rather than reproducing a single shoe. This is the lifestyle side of a wider sporting house. It invites a different comparison from choosing a technical running shoe: silhouette, materials, colour and everyday fit come first, while each model retains its own construction and specifications.
