Arizona is built around a clear relationship between two broad straps and a shaped footbed. The buckles are both adjustment and decoration, while the visible cork edge makes the construction legible. Birkenstock offers the shape in different materials and widths, so the familiar name covers noticeably different experiences of texture, fit and care. The Birko-Flor version gives the upper a smooth, even surface.
