Get to know Caralarga.
Caralarga’s story begins in 2014 with Ana Holschneider and Socorro Gasca finding inspiration in raw cotton thread and textile remnants at the old El Hércules factory in Querétaro. Ariadna García joined the project as it developed into a studio combining creative direction, making and organisation. Large textile pieces, smaller objects and collaborations share an interest in visible fibre and manual process. The raw Danzante, made with Taller Maya, shows how that vocabulary can extend beyond cotton into another local fibre.
