PICHULIK turns rope, metal and unexpected materials into sculptural jewellery. Founded in South Africa by Katherine-Mary Pichulik, the atelier brings stories, symbols and handwork into objects worn close to the body.

Katherine-Mary Pichulik founded her namesake atelier in 2013. Based in Cape Town, the practice treats ornament as a language of form and storytelling, drawing on myth and cultural references without restricting itself to conventional jewellery materials. Rope is one of its distinguishing elements, often shaped and combined with cast or found components. The Sasso collaboration with Serena Ghidini opens another material conversation: stoneware takes the place of a gemstone, suspended from leather with brass fittings. Its irregular opening and rounded outline make the pendant feel closer to a small handheld sculpture than a polished jewel.
