Qayrawan Pot — Checkered →

The Checkered Qayrawan pot puts an uneven grid of dark and earth-coloured squares around a rounded body with a short neck. Its appeal lies in the meeting of a strong graphic motif and a visibly handmade clay surface. On the official collection photograph, it is the broad checked pot near the centre; the surrounding vessels and props are separate objects. Place it on a shelf or console where the pattern can be read from a little distance. Confirm the dimensions and finish with the stockist before ordering, and use it decoratively unless the seller confirms suitability for water or food.
