3 coffee equipment brands to discover for your home routine

Hario for immersion brewing, Fellow for a deliberate pour and KINTO for cold brew: three ways to choose coffee equipment around the cup you actually make.

Choose a routine before a brand

The most useful coffee equipment starts with how you like to prepare a cup. Do you want to let grounds steep, practise pouring hot water or prepare a cold brew ahead of time? These three brands are already presented on Selezio and offer distinct answers. Our selection follows the brewing method, the part an object plays and the space it needs at home. It is a guide to discovering a suitable setup, rather than a ranking based on tasting tests.

Hario: explore immersion with the Switch

Hario is a starting point if you want a filter brewer that holds water before releasing it. In the ceramic V60 Immersion Switch 02, a metal ball closes the outlet; operating the switch lets the brewed coffee drain into the cup below. The Tropical Turquoise version presented on Selezio has a ceramic dripper and a silicone base. This is a different gesture from continually pouring through an open dripper. Check the finished capacity, matching paper filters and cleaning instructions before choosing the size for your daily cup.

Fellow: focus on the pour

Fellow is worth exploring when the missing piece is the kettle rather than the brewer. Its Stagg Pour-Over Kettle, shown on Selezio in Matte White, combines a narrow spout, a built-in thermometer and a counterbalanced handle. It is the stovetop model, distinct from the electric Stagg EKG family. It can accompany a separate filter brewer; it does not replace one. Before buying, check the exact version’s heat-source compatibility and usable capacity. Choose it for the role of pouring water in your routine, without assuming that one kettle guarantees a particular flavour.

KINTO: prepare a cold brew ahead

KINTO offers another route with the LUCE Cold Brew Carafe 1 L. Its removable mesh filter sits inside the glass jug, making it a different proposition from a hot-water dripper. It suits a routine organised around advance preparation and serving from a carafe. Leave room for its height in the refrigerator and follow the official recipe and care guidance. KINTO specifies that the container is not completely sealed: do not treat it as a sealed bottle to carry in a bag, or lift the filled jug by its lid.

Start with the part you will use

You do not need all three objects to begin. A brewer, a pouring kettle and a cold-brew carafe serve different purposes. Start with the method you want to use, check what you already own and compare the exact product’s filters, dimensions and care. Explore the three brand pages below, then save the objects that have a clear place in your kitchen.
