THE BRAND’S POINT OF VIEW

Get to know Bohempia.

The familiar canvas sneaker is Bohempia’s starting point. This Czech footwear label keeps the recognisable outlines of high-tops, low-tops and slip-ons while changing what sits beneath them: thin, flexible soles, a level heel and forefoot, and roomier toe shapes. Hemp cloth gives many of its urban shoes their woven surface. The company says it has its hemp fabric woven and dyed in the Czech Republic and makes its footwear within the European Union. The chosen ORIK model is made in Romania, a useful distinction between the brand’s origin and the place where a pair is assembled.
