Get to know Jacques Marie Mage.
The Mishima belongs to Jacques Marie Mage’s Kyosho Series, which pays tribute to Japanese artists and cultural figures. Named for the writer Yukio Mishima, this re-edition is built around a medium rectangular frame, a distinct bridge and a sharply bevelled brow. Arrowhead pins and detailed temples make the fittings part of the composition. The house’s emphasis on small production runs is visible here in the numbered batch rather than in an abstract claim of rarity.
