THE BRAND’S POINT OF VIEW

Get to know Mungo.

Mungo’s story begins in 1998 with master weaver Stuart Holding and two restored antique looms. Production later expanded to its own mill at Old Nick Village, opened in 2017 near the original workshop. The Itawuli takes its name from the isiXhosa word for towel and is designed, woven and made in South Africa.
