A Seiko collection can be approached through what happens inside the case as much as its appearance. Automatic movements, hand winding and practical day-date displays give the 5 Sports family a recognisable everyday character. Other collections explore different proportions and finishes, so the brand name alone says little about the size or mechanism of a particular watch. The SRPL83 draws on the SKX design vocabulary, adding a sunray dial, applied markers and rounded bracelet links to a substantial steel sports-watch silhouette.
