The history of Cereria Mollá reaches back to 1899 and to a family trade in candles. Its account follows Santiago Mollá Blanquer joining his father as a child in a business founded by his grandfather. Candles first answered a practical need for light. As electric lighting changed that need, the workshop turned towards church candles and later the hospitality market. Scented candles and home fragrances now give that tradition another expression. The company describes hand-pouring as central to its process, with vegetable waxes and cotton wicks forming the material basis of its candles. Collections explore bergamot, herbs, flowers and darker woods across candles, reed diffusers and sprays.
