Get to know uka.
A salon gives a beauty brand a particular starting point: products are considered through the hands that use them. uka grew from a Tokyo salon business, adopting its present name in 2009 as Kiho Watanabe led the introduction of its own nail oil. Hair, nails and body care share that practical perspective. Kenzan makes it visible without a complicated routine. A compact butterfly silhouette fits the hand, while rounded points turn shampooing into a deliberate manual gesture. Different firmness levels leave room for individual preference rather than treating every scalp in the same way.

What catches our eye.
The shape is more than decoration: the lobes help the brush sit in the palm. Firmness matters more than colour when choosing among the Kenzan versions.
