Sayaka Matcha — 40 g Can

Sayaka is Ippodo’s Japanese matcha with a flavour profile the house describes as sweet and umami-rich, with a hint of bitterness. This selection is the 40 g can, distinct from the 40 g resealable bag; Ippodo states that the tea and net weight are the same in both. Sift the powder before whisking, using the house’s instructions for the chosen hot or cold preparation. The hot guide uses water cooled to 80°C and brisk M-shaped whisking. Matcha contains caffeine. Close the container carefully after use and keep the tea away from heat, light and moisture.
